Mara “Herring Shoal” Pendant Aqua Blue
This pendant certainly catches the eye in a lovely green turquoise with a shoal of herring textured into the silver as a background.
Herring migrate through the seas around Orkney in large shoals of fish of approximately the same size. Swimming in shoals makes them less vulnerable to attacks of predators.
The pendant measures 25 mm.
Hallmarked in Edinburgh.
