Sea shells

Shell hunting is my ideal Sunday afternoon activity. We have some great beaches for this purpose in Orkney. On my island the shallow waters in the sandy bays bring in an array of shells with each tide. Certain rare ones are occasionally found and this brings great excitement. Recently I took my shell fascination to new levels and started recreating my favourite shells using a bit of artistic license. I often use recycled silver for this purpose.
