Silver Darlings Pendant
A delicate Silver pendant in celebration of “The Silver Darlings” an Orcadian name for Herring. The herring fishing had its boom in Orkney in the late 1800-1900’s. Also the name of a music group from Stronsay – The Stronsay Silver Darlings. The pendant measures 45 mm at its longest. The largest of the fish has enamelled scales. Colour shade of scales will vary ever so slightly.
Comes in a gift box ready to be presented to that special person!
All online orders also come in a paper gift bag with a polishing cloth, jewellery care instructions and a small organza bag of seashells collected from my local beach.
