I am a Swedish jeweller and designer living in Orkney with my farmer husband and youngest son. My passion for nature and environment reflects strongly in my work. The ever changing nature of sea, shore and skies of Orkney brings me endless inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I grew up on the west coast of Sweden and was always interested in nature from an early age. I also loved drawing and found my creative streak early on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1996 I graduated from Sir John Cass Faculty of Arts in Jewellery and metalwork in London. It was at this time I started making wave rings, now one of my flagship designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These days the natural environment and elements of the islands of Orkney provide me with inspiration for the shapes and forms for my pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beachcombing and shell hunting is another of my passions and I can spend endless hours walking along the shore looking for things washed up by the sea and imagining what stories they have to tell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All my jewellery is designed and created by me in my island workshop. I work mostly in sterling silver and vitreous enamel in vibrant colours.  Many pieces are also set with semi-precious gemstones. I use several traditional enamelling techniques including Champlev\u00e9 and Cloisonn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My jewellery is made by hand hence most items will vary ever so slightly from piece to piece,  so you can definitely be asssured of getting something unique and special to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My jewellery consists of highly wearable pieces which are all finished to a high standard. I love the idea of my jewellery telling stories \u2013 tales of sea and clear days with wide open Orkney skies \u2013 from me to the wearer they tell their own story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
